NEWS: Successful round up to the season with double award at league dinner

Squires Gate are delighted to have been awarded two awards at tonight's League Dinner to round off the 2016/17.

Both were presented to a delighted Secretary John Maguire at tonight's League Dinner.

The first award was for reaching 1,000 NWCFL Premier Division games, which came on Boxing Day last year in our home game against Ashton Athletic (Award Pictured).

The second award was more specifically for this season and was for the Best Discipline in the Premier Division. Something we believe starts at the top of the club is respect for both the game and visitors to the club, so we're delighted that the First Team have set the example on the pitch and carried this on throughout the season.

A big well done to Danny and Brian Penswick and all the first team of last season for this award.
