The last time these two teams met was back in August where Gate ran out winning 3-1 back at School rd. Since then Road have had a few ups and downs in results, over the last few weeks they've lost 5 but managed to get a hatful in their last game against struggling Stockport Sports.

Gate will field a strong squad mainly of the side that faced Colne FC last Tuesday evening, and boss Dave McCann will be asking once again the same from his side,

Our Gate reporter caught up with the Gaffer and asked him for his thought's on the upcoming game Dave commented " We're coming to the end of a tough month of fixtures. I predicted at the start that the squad will be utilised to its full potential during the course of the month and so it's proved to be. To their credit every player has applied themselves really well and I'll be looking for whoever is on duty on Saturday to do the same. We want to continue the good set of results we've had recently but know that Maine Road won't be an easy fixture.
