Gate welcome the Players, Officials and supporters of Abbey Hey this Saturday, and hopefully the weather will be kind enough, although more rain is expected during the week, top groundsman Brian "Taddy" Addison will have his work cut out ensuring the game goes ahead as planned, Brian added "The pitch is looking good, having not been played on for some time, there shouldn't be too many problems in time for the game, although that all depends on the weather.

Even though Gate haven't seen match action since the 6th December, Gate boss has been busy keeping the team match fit on the training field, we caught up with him and asked him what's been going on behind the scenes while the last two games were called off,
Dave said "This will be our 1st game since the 6th Dec so the players will be fresh and hungry for a game. We hope to continue our unbeaten run but won't be underestimating Abbey Hey. I thought they were one of the best footballing teams in our league last year but were unfortunate with results. They have put a good run of form together recently so it should be an entertaining encounter, we're really looking forward to the game".
