STAINES LAMMAS YOUTH

Staines Lammas Football Club was formed in 1926 as a mens football team playing their games at the Ashby Recreation Ground in Staines, more locally known as " THE LAMMAS". They moved to their present ground at Laleham Recreation Ground in 1987 and have, over the years, totally revamped the site to its present level.
In 1996 the youth section was formed with a team in the West Middlesex Youth League at under 10. The following season there were both under 10s and 11s and have subsequently added teams at all age groups. At the commencement of the 2008-09 season we have 16 teams from under 7s up to under 17s.

Over the past couple of seasons the players from those initial teams have moved into the adult section providing young and fresh talent to support their 4 teams in the Combined Counties (1st & reserves) and the Guildford & Woking Alliance (3rd & 4ths).

All coaches at all ages have attained at least the Level 1 Coaching Certificate and the youth section itself is proud to have achieved "CHARTER CLUB STATUS" with the Football Association.

The club policy is "FOOTBALL FOR ALL" believing that every child should have the opportunity to play football regardless of ability.
