Bounce Back Ability, that's the name of the game.

Bounce back ability was the words on the lips of the Lammas management team after last weeks 5-1 drubbing by Epsom Athletic, and that's exactly what Adam Bessent's team gave him with a very impressive 4-0 victory.

Lammas started like a train, Kelvin Keranja was causing havoc on the right wing and Steve Udeze making his home debut was using his power and strength on the left hand side with great effect, Lammas nearly went ahead in the opening minutes but after great work Kelvin Keranja's shot went wide of the near post.

Lammas did not have to wait long for the opener though, Ross Nunn danced his way into the area and curled an unstoppable shot in to the top corner to make it 1-0, George Olulode scored from close range after more good work from Kelvin Keranja to make it 2-0.

If Dorking thought that Lammas were going to take there foot off the brake, then they were very much mistaken, Steve Udeze shot over the bar from 12 yards and then the goal of the game came after 23 minutes when George Olulode smashed home a volley from 25 yards out leaving the Dorking keeper completely wrong footed.

Yet again Lammas kept the pressure on Dorking, man of the match Tom Chisholm was not giving the Dorking midfielders an inch, Tom Hayden was linking up well with the wide boys and Lammas scored the fourth and final goal on 30 minutes when Steve Udeze netted his first of the season after capitalising on an error from the Dorking Keeper.

In the second half Lammas kept the ball well and had chances to extend the lead but was foiled by some good goalkeeping by the Dorking number one.

All in all this was a great game for the Lammas, the attitude, application and determination of the players was a joy to watch and long may that continue.

Final score: Staines Lammas 4-0 Dorking Wanderers Reserves.

Up the Lammas!
