Seven Heaven for the Lammas as the boys create a goal feast at the Lane.

A brace a piece from Shane Rideout, Matt Baxter and Gary James plus a wonder strike from Chris Bullen was enough to spank Knaphill in the CCL Division One Match.

After seemingly playing Cup matches for a month the Lammas got down to business with a scintillating attacking performance, we said for a few weeks that it was coming and today was the day.

Manager Nathan Wharf was away this weekend and was receiving text messages from the match, Nathan said that he thought that the guys were winding him up.

Lammas now play Hanworth Villa in the cup on Tuesday night and travel to Worcester Park in the league on Saturday.

The reserves could only manage a draw away to Knaphill yesterday, despite having 6 regular first team players playing, Manager Phil Ellery was very disappointed in the performance but saved praise for Joe Hall, Joe Hadley, Sam Woolard, Dean Robertson, Andy Sherwood and Tommy Owen, Ellery said " the youngsters at this club have very big futures in the game and a couple of them may well be included in the first team squad for Tuesday, having just spoken to Nathan, we are trying to do things properly at the club and know how important it is to bring these young players through, things are really good at the club and for the first team to have a quality side we need to provide them with a quality reserves team to back them up when needed and I believe we are getting there"

Man of the Match for the 1st team Chris Bullen ( just for that strike )

Man of the Match for the Res Dean Robertson ( unbeatable )
