Photos of YOU

The "St Albans RFC Photographic Society" met and assessed the photos available to us for the Clubhouse walls. We prioritised what was most important right now for the club celebrating 30 years at Smallford. We divided them into Team photos, Action photos, Club Specific Dates, Twickenham and World Cup photos. The wall to the right of the Bar was chosen to hold the Team photos and they numbered 16 in total (including EAC Rugby). We will try and get these up as quickly as possible.

Can YOU fill in the gaps?
What we need is A3 photos in a Black Metal Frame.
The club doesn't have endless resources so this would be very much what can YOU leave behind for Posterity? And you get your photo on the wall! 1st 2nd 3rd 4th and Vets Events XV you have all played for the Blue and Gold so your team photo will go up in chronological order.

Club Photographer Libby Healy brought down her 20 Best Shots from last season. They capture the spirit, ethos, dynamism and fun that we know St Albans Rugby is all about. We have 2 frames A2 size that she will put the first two of these in. These Action Shots will be put up around the club. What we need here is more A2 frames.

Finally we have Two Shirts in frames, with one coming from Hong King Hero Dan Watson that is ready to go and a Hertfordshire County Representative one in production to highlight the contribution made by players and coaches from the club. A great advert and inspiration for future players.
I was also after any Parents who may have taken great shots of the sons to ask if they would like to see their hard work and support up on the walls of the club. Clive Huddleston and Mr Hissey Sr. were mentioned. Can we chase them up?

I have for many years been after personal photo collections of Ian Peel and Dave Gilroy.
I KNOW they have them under their respective beds! Ian Peel has many of the Roundwood Park Colts Era - our future first XV for many seasons. Please apply pressure to these two to fill your club walls.
Other photos are to be placed in Photo Albums. Or we could just paste the lot of them to a board on a wall quite contrarily.
We will reconvene on the 26th June and hopefully have many more photos ready to go.
