1.You can say ‘see you next Tuesday’ to Pierre after every single session and he will never get the insult.
2.It’s always fun to bet on what time co-joined twins Jarrod and Oli will arrive late/leave early.
3.Just to find out if one day Big Mike will run out of (pre-texted) excuses for missing training (‘have to get up early tomorrow’/’it might be my sister’s birthday today’/’the dog ate my boots’) or being late (‘I’ve had a sniffle’/’I’ve got a sniffle/’I might be getting a sniffle’).
4.To see if Phil’s eventually got a new bobble hat.
5.To be there on the day when Mass eventually brings enough brothers to field a complete side of Team Federici.
6.To learn how to spell ‘donkey’. Properly.
7.To hear the latest words of wisdom from Florjan, Albanian Cultural Attaché.
8.To spot if the net is actually put on the right way up first time.
9.We had 18 recently. The more who attend the better it is for all. Oh, and Phil is doing some PowerPoint charts on attendance for the Yearbook.
10.The more people who attend, (by the law of averages) the more stupid things will get said, and hence the easier it is to write stuff for the website.
Feel free to comment and add any other reasons to get to training!
Until next time.
Yours in football,
The Unknown Roman
