Stamford are pleased to announce of three new faces for the new season.

Two of the players have pulled on the Daniels shirt before but return after time away from the Zeeco stadium.

First player in is 21 year old centre half Jordon Cooke who joins from North Ferriby United. He has also played for Scunthorpe, Doncaster Rovers & Lincoln City.

Next player in sees the return of Chris Salt to the Daniels. The tall centre half originally joined Stamford in 2016 and was part of the squad that reached the first round against Hartlepool. He then went onto play for Gainsborough Trinity.

Also returning in Taron Hare. The defender played for the Daniels in early 2016 on loan from York City. He made 10 appearances that season. He then moved onto North Ferriby United and had spells at Boston United & Gainsborough.

Manager Graham Drury commented 'Taron Hare, some fans will remember his loan spell with us from York City. Taron can play anywhere across the back four, strong powerfully athletic runner. Since leaving York hes played his football at Conference North levels with Gainsborough, Boston and Ferriby. I am chuffed to have the chance to work with Taron again, we have been in contact since he left. He really enjoyed playing for Stamford, he is a good age and wants to show the fans just how good he is.
Jordon Cooke signs from North Ferriby, a youth player at Lincoln City Jord brings a winning mentality to the club, strong aggressive player again can play across the back four he loves clean sheet.
Also I am looking forward to working with Chris Salt. What can I say about Salty left to play Conf North football for Gainsborough. He was so good for us in the FA cup run he loved the club and if we can get him back to his best what a good player he is. Welcome back salty lad. These players are all good ages and this is what we are trying to build at our football club, players that can take us up the levels. Welcome on board and massive welcome to our Stamford family.'
