Speaking at the launch Paul Pepper Commercial Manager of Stamford AFC said, we’re delighted that one of our most valued customers at Borderville, Stamford Burghley Rotary Club have kindly agreed to support Stamford AFC and the Daniels Cups.

The Rotary Club have lent their support to the under 16 competition. The Cup will be contested by 4 local under 16 teams that will be invited to play the matches at Borderville. The 2 Semi- Finals will take place on the Daniels 3G pitch on the 2nd and 9th of March with the show piece Final taking place in the Zeeco Stadium on Sunday 6th May. All 3 Finals including the under 18 and Senior Cup will be held throughout the day. We hope that all 3 Finals will attract great attendances supporting the teams in the Finals, Paul said.

Geoff Mayling, Past President of Stamford Burghley Rotary commented. The Rotary Club of Stamford Burghley are pleased to continue the relationship with Stamford AFC by sponsoring the under 16’s knockout cup competition. Supporting and promoting children and youth involvement locally is an important aspect for the Rotary. We look forward to attending the matches and presenting the medals on Finals day on 6th May.

The competition will be called Stamford Burghley Rotary Daniels under 16 Cup.
