The last few weeks have seen the Daniels bolster the squad with a number of new signings. The first of which was the signing of striker Gary King from Lincoln United. He has already played for the Daniels in 2011/12.
The next two players into the side are Liam Marshall, a left sided defender, joined from Corby after starting his career at the Leicester academy. He then joined the Peterborough youth set up where he featured in academy games as well as making the first team squad on occasions. He has also played for Ilkeston and been called up to the Scotland youth side. Another signing from Corby is midfielder Danny Draper who came through the Steelmen’s academy and in recent years have broken into their first team making 20 appearances last year, he joins on a month long loan.
The next signing also comes in from step 3 as Rogan McGeorge comes in from St Neots. He began his career with Cambridge United and also has turned out for Histon and Wisbech Town. He can play in the middle of the park or out on the wing. As well as Rogan, Kyle Goodwin makes the step down from step three to join the Daniels from Stafford Rangers.
The final signing is striker Jordan Hempenstall from Lincoln United. He has scored a lot of goals over his career for teams such as Grantham and has had a previous stint with the Daniels where he won promotion the last time the club were in step four. He has scored 15 goals in competitive fixtures so far this season including one against the Daniels.
