Andrews remain at the top of the EMCL with a solid run of results in October.

Starting with a conclusive 4 nil win over Kimberley MW, with goals from Henfry, Mitch Warner, Hickey and Doughty, the Andrews have enjoyed a productive month in October.
Next up after Kimberley was a midweek trip to Ellistown and Ibstock FC which ended in a 2-1 defeat despite a fantastic Shay Brennen goal.
Holbrook Sports were next up at Canal Street with the Andrews going 3-1 up with goals from Hickey, Brennan and Ben Stephens. Mitch Warner then saw red for a foul in the box that saw the resultant penalty scored and then Joe Latham was given a straight red for an off the ball incident. With 9 men the Andrews succumbed to an equaliser but held on and had good chances to get the winner before the ref blew for full time with the score 3-3.
We all travelled to Nottingham next to play bottom side Greenwood Meadows. The Andrews dominated proceedings running out easy 6 nil winners with goals from Toby Warner (2) Stephens, Doughty, Hickey and Hodkinson.
Barrow Town where next up with the Andrews looking to raise there performance from the last time the 2 sides met earlier in the season. What followed was there best performance of the season according to most people I spoke to after the game. Goals from Leon Doughty, Dowsing (2) and Toby Warner gave the Andrews a 4 nil advantage at half time. Toby Warner added a fifth early in the second half and the Andrews team controlled the game until the final whistle.
After a 2-2 draw away to Radford on the 1st of November (Brennan 2 goals) the Andrews have a handy 5 point lead at the
top of the EMCL.
