STANFORD U15s @ RUGBY JUDO!!
Stanford U15s worked on their contact skills at JSC Judo Club with Judo 6th Dan John Cottis and Rugby Coach Chris Emerson on Thursday, 29th September.
This was the thirdRugby Judo session the lads have attended and while enjoying the training, they covered important aspects of the tackle and contact area.
J.S.C. Judo Club opened on 10th February 1989, and since that time John and Sharon Cottis have watched children from the age of five grow up to become Great Britain squad members and national and international champions.
The club has produced Olympians, World and European medallists, player’s such as Peter Cousins, Thomas Cousins, Vicki Dunn, Cheryle Peel, Philippa Gemmill, Toni Prince, Tom Smith, Lee Harron, and Duncan Kirby to name but a few, and numerous national Junior and Senior medallists.
