The Game started lively on 5 minutes Southend Manor got through on goal the striker shot hard and low but Stansteds Reece Paine pushed around the post

On 7 minutes Stansted counter attack the ball played out wide , crossed into the box met by Matt Wedlake who headed goal bound but saved by the Manor goalkeeper.

On 15 minutes Stansted win a free kick on the edge of the Manor box taken quickly out to Gill who crossed early but was cleared by Manor.On 16 minutes Manor win a corner it was whipped in, Paine came to collect, but the ball slipped out of his hands in the wet conditions and it was tapped in to make it 1-0.

With both teams having plenty of procession on 25 minutes a poor clearance from the manor defender was picked up by Sam Ashford he played it wide to Matt Ashwell who crossed the ball into the box and it was headed goal bound by Matt Gill who headed just wide .

On 37 minutes Manor win the ball in the middle the ball played up to there striker who got a shot off but way over the bar. On 43 minutes Stansted win a throw deep into the Manors half , Wedlake flicked the header goal bound but it was cleared off the line HT 1-0

With the conditions getting worse the first 20 minutes was even with both teams having equal possession on 65 minutes Manor win the ball down Stansteds right, the ball was crossed in with the Manors striker heading goal bound but was saved by the feet of Paine.

On 66 minutes Mark Ashford had seen enough and made 3 changes with Rudkin,Ashford and Wedlake off and Larkin , Masurier , and Isherwood on to try and get a reaction .

For the next 15 minutes Stansted was pushing for the equalizer but on 85 minutes Manor win the ball, the ball played out far right the ball was whipped in and headed in the far corner to make it 2-0.

With Stansted pushing forward to get back into the game Manor win the ball in midfield the ball was slid through the Stansted defence and the striker was through on goal and took the ball around Paine and slotted into a open net 3-0.

With the game pretty much over on 86 minutes Stansted win a penalty and it was converted by Jack Isherwood FT 3-1.
