Tonight Stansted FC play a friendly against Brentwood FC

The first 15 minutes was quite even with both sides seeing plenty of the ball but neither team tested the keepers.

On 59 minutes Stansted created the first proper chance of the game with a ball that was put through to Abdeen Abdul, he beat the defence with his run and was through on goal but the keeper came off of his line quickly and saved.

The second half was very even with both teams matching each other on the pitch.

The final score 2 - 0 Brentwood

On the night both teams tried to play football , they kept the ball on the floor and the longer the game went on Stansted started to match Brentwood . Over the 90 minutes Brentwood played some nice quick football and it was good to watch but what impressed me was the attitude the Stansted players showed , kept battling throughout the 90 minutes and for better fortune could have got something from the game.

Its refreshing to see a club giving young players a chance to learn at senior football .
Going forward things look bright at Stansted with Mark Ashford and Michael Walther starting to get the players playing the right way and this is showing in the results. If the players are willing to learn what they are getting taught then in the coming months i can see Stansted being right up there come the end of the season.
