Stanways Zoe Newson makes the British Paralympic Team
It's official - Zoe will go for gold in the 2012 Paralympic Games
Earlier this week it was officially announced that Zoe Newson has been selected for the 2012 Great Britian, Paraympic Team.
At just 18, powerlifter Zoe is already ranked fourth in the world, and has set her sights on gold at the 2012 Paralympian Games.
Zoe's recent medal wins include:
2010 World championships Malaysia Juniors: Gold
2009 IWAS World Games Bangalore: Silver
2009 British Powerlifting Championships: Gold
2009 International Powerlifting Championships: Gold
Zoe is a huge supporter of Stanway Rovers FC, hardly missing a game at the Hawthorns. Earlier this season the Rovers held a fundraising Raffle to help Zoe achieve gold for Great Britain at the Games.
