We would like to invite you to the 2018 CRFU Training conference at St Austell Rugby Club. This year the conference will pro-vide opportunity for development in coaching, refereeing, first aid and also with the use of GMS.

The day will cost £5 per person to be paid in cash on the day. Lunch to be supplied.

1. Activate - Activate is an injury prevention exercise programme that can be integrated into training and pre-match sessions. Pro-gram has proven to reduce the risk of concussion by 59%.

2. Law Amendments - Claire Daniels the South West Match Official Development Officer, will be attending to run you through 2018/19 law amendments and focus areas for the season ahead and answer any questions you might have

3. CPD - Coaching through CARDS - (Creativity, Awareness, Resilience, Decision Making and Self Organising). These skills are seen as the priority for helping develop the next generation of rugby players both on and off the pitch. We will look to improve your under-standing of CARDS and how you can use them in your coaching.

4. Guest Coach Q&A - Special guest coach will be able to provide an opportunity for you all to ask any questions in relation to your coaching and how we can adapt the ‘how’ we are coaching to ensure the best learning environment for our players.
