John Savory RIP

It is with much personal sadness that I share the news that John Savory passed away on Tuesday at Ismeer Residential Care Home in Gorran Haven.

John loved rugby and made a big contribution to our Club over many years. Like many players from the late 80s and early 90s I will always fondly remember John on the touchline with his magic sponge (no physios then!); a big reel of insulating tape for my ears and driving the minibus back from Devon stopping at every pub on the left! God bless you John and thank you for everything!

John's funeral will be at 2:30 on Monday 9 November 2015 at Glynn Valley Crematorium.

The thoughts and condolences of everyone at St Austell RFC are with John's family and friends.
