LittleStars Rugby is a unique coaching and development programme enabling children aged 2-7 to develop great new skills and confidence through fun based learning. Specialised coaching is aimed at developing children age 18 months and upwards to improve their co-ordination, balance, listening, social and key physical skills. The Cornwall franchise is headed up by St Austell RFC's Director of Rugby Andy Ashwin and Forwards Coach Ashley Morcom. Andy is the Head of Physical Education at Roseland School and the partnership with the former Cornish Pirates and Cornwall Cornish prop Ashley brings unparalleled experience in coaching.

Managing Director of LittleStars Rugby Anthony Dunne said of the launch "We are delighted to see further expansion of the LittleStars Rugby brand with our fifth license in under 2 years". "Both the guys impressed us with their passion for the game, with rugby in their DNA as well as a desire to deliver fantastic sessions throughout their region as well as having some great connections and contacts which will help them when it comes to marketing their own LittleStars Rugby brand".

The LittleStars Rugby logo has already been tailored specifically for the Cornish region with the flag of St.Piran being incorporated into the base of the logo so to engage the local community with their very own tailored regional rugby programme for kids.

Little Stars Rugby Kernow will initially launch at three fantastic venues:

Brannel School, St Stephen
St Austell RFC
The Roseland Community College, Tregony.

Free taster sessions will be at The Roseland Community College and St Austell RFC on Sunday 12th July with each venue hosting two age groups:

Mini Stars - 2-4 year olds:9.00 - 9.45am
Mega Stars - 5-7 year olds:10.00 - 10.45am
