In recent weeks there have been a couple incidents where the behaviour among our supporters has slipped from their usual high standards.

Exuberance, passion and wit are the hallmarks of all great rugby crowds but we must never allow banter cross the line into abuse.

I am compelled to remind all players, members, friends, parents and supporters at every level from The Saints, Sinners, Colts, Youth and the Ladies that St Austell RFC operates a ZERO TOLERANCE policy approach regarding abuse towards the Referee or Assistant Referees or opponents.

Rugby is a special sport and one of its most revered Core Values is RESPECT.
We respect the match officials and accept their decisions.
We respect opposition players and supporters.
We value our coaches and those who volunteer to run our club.
We treat clubhouse and our staff with consideration.
