Torquay Take Two!
Saints return to the Devon Riviera for the rescheduled game against Torquay Athletic on Saturday 25 February
It is has now been confirmed that Saints will play Torquay Athletic on Saturday 25 February, kick off 2:30.
The original game on 4 February was a late victim of the cold snap with the match called off at 2pm due to a frozen pitch.
The match versus the Tics is a second in a crucial trio of games that could prove pivotal in the Saints’ promotion push. First up are near neighbours Truro, although just off the pace in 6th place they are a highly competitive outfit as they proved back in October. Saints have been looking forward to this one with eager anticipation and a real determination to put right what went wrong on that windy day at St Clements Hill. That’s followed by two tough trips across the Tamar, first to South Devon to 4th place Torquay who are in an excellent run of form. Then it’s to the North coast on 3rd March to face Bideford who dropped to 5th following Saturday’s 13-22 home defeat to the Tics.
