A club is only as good as the people who support it. Whilst we spend some of our funds on the upkeep of the club it still requires help from its players and supporters to keep it 'ship-shape and Bristol fashion'.

We need volunteers to take part in a Nat West Rugby Force Day. Basically Darren (Club Manager) has applied and got a grant of money that we can spend on things to renovate and improve the club's grounds and facilities. We carry this work out on a day and take pictures to prove we have done it.

Last year we did a deal of painting. This year depending on the weather we have some new objectives. Its actually a bit of fun as well. You get to meet other people and achieve something with them.

This year we will meet in the clubhouse room where the kitchen hatch is at 10am. Free
Bacon baps and beverages on arrival. We will work no later than 3pm although if you only have an hour or two then please still do pitch up and do what you can!

Work List

Prepare and mark training areas for off pitch training - Lots of hands on deck to rake and wheel barrow off dead grass (grass cutting already commenced);
Strimming around the ground incl. Hedgerows;
Painting the stands/dug-outs;
Picture Hanging;
Tidy up the tackle bag store/Assess state of bags for coming season.

More definition to follow as Oberleutnant Thompson ties down what he needs help with.

At lunch we will supply food. If its nice maybe spark up the BBQ and there will be soft drinks all free of charge.

Everyone who turns up gets a free t-shirt from Nat West to say thanks for supporting your club.
