WANTED - Saints Players from 1978 Cup Final !!!
Calling all Saints who played against Camborne in the 1978 Cup Final !!!!
We are trying to locate all members of the St Austell team who played against Camborne in the 1978 Cup Final. The plan is for that team to meet up with this years team on the day and travel to the final as guests of St Austell RFC. At the moment we believe the Final will take place on Easter Saturday at Penryn RFC
It promises to be a memorable day so if you played in that team, or you know someone who did get in touch through the club at 01726 76430.
Even if you can't make the day contact the club so we can refresh our records. With our 50th Anniversary coming up soon it would be great to catch up with old friends

Well I go back to before 1978 why has nobody written a history of St Austell Rugby club I would like to get notice of the event
hello John a name from the past, I believe you were full back when we played in 63/64
A committee is being set up comprising of supporters and committee members to expore ways of celebrating our 50th Anniversray season (21013-14). Details will soon appear on the website and I am sure they will appreciate any ideas, contribution and offers of help to mark this exciting landmark in the Club's history.
I your suggestion is an excellent one and I will ensure it is goes into the mix for consideration. No doubut once the committee is formed they will be in contact with you to enlist your help.
