On Thursday March 21st, our Year 8 girls are in the NW Counties final qualifying tournament at Chorley Panthers ARLFC, Coppull, Chorley. The tournament starts at 1.30 with an estimated 3.30 finishing time. 3 teams will go forward from this group to the NW Counties finals.

On the same day our Y10 boys travel to Essex to play Colchester Royal Grammar School, a top Rugby Union school, in the first round of the ESRL National Knock-out Cup. This will mean an 8.00 departure and a 500 mile round trip. Kick-off will be about 2pm and we are hoping to be back at school by about 9pm. This team has reached the National quarter-finals for the last two seasons, and we hope to make similar or further progress this year.

We know both teams will put in a great effort and we look forward to reporting good news on both fronts.
