Y7 GIRLS TRAVEL TO LEEDS FOR THE WAR OF THE ROSES image

On Friday 1st June our Year 7 girls will represent Wigan Schools against Leeds in the annual "War of the Roses" festival.

Following our success at the Wigan Shield RL Festival, our school has been asked to represent Wigan Schools against Leeds Schools in the annual War of the Roses clash. This year’s tournament will be in Leeds on Friday 1st June, with St Edmund Arrowsmith Y7 team playing against Corpus Christi High School, with a 1.30 kick-off at Kirkstall Training Academy in Leeds.

Pupils will also have the opportunity to stay on for the Leeds Rhinos v Wigan Warriors match at Headingly Carnegie Stadium.

Training for the squad continues on Thursdays after school.
