Despite being several players down because of injuries and unavailability, our Y10 team played really well to beat Walkden High School 38-4 last week. The Salford boys were a tough bunch but were no match for the speed and skill of this Eddies team. Well done to all players and especially to Ben and Kavan who stepped up from our Y9 squad and put in some tremendous tackling and powerful running.

We now play our local rivals Deanery in a NW semi-final, probably on Wed 14 December, with a possible final at Widnes on Saturday 14 January. Eddies also go into the hat for the National Champion School Cup draw, also to be played next term.
