The football this year was excelent. We had Brantham U11s who gave us a display of good football and how it should be played England please watch. There A & B played out the final well done boys hope you come next year.
Ipswich Athletic at under 12s had a problem and they were comming then the could not make it then 48 hours to go they got over the problem and came and they won the Under 12s Age Group well done to the team.
The ladies were playing at U12s U13s & U16s and they three great competitions and the football was of a high standard well done girls. The referees all turned up and that is allways a good start the refereeing was of an high standard and I personaly would like to thank them for the day.
St Edmunds did win one trophy a Fair Play Award the under 7s and it was there first ever game as a team well done boys. All our teams were new and of course they are learning and getting better.

I would like to thank some people who without I do beleve we would have strugled to get the Tounament on Daren spent 3 days doing what ever he could and did help me a lot thanks Daren to you and your family.
The next one is Steven what a great job he done he done cooking and put up tents and most other Jobs inbetween.
There was a lot of young people that helped out I would like to thank them as well it is nice to see the young people helping out well done to you all. All the bad things that are told about the children I have been in greenstead since 1990 and canot remember when I had a problem with them. If people speak to them in the right manner they will react in the right way. There is the odd bad apple in all arears.
The last family I would like to thank is James Milton and his family James done the stats and refereeing and helped to clean up at the end thanks James & Family.
Thanks all so to Asley Barrell he worked hard and did a lot for the competition. And to top that he is about to boost the amount of children in Greenstead.
Shane helped out when the rest of us were flaging a bit in he had not come to help out I think we would not left till after 9pm thanks Shane. If I have missed out anyone out I do think all the helpers done a great job for us and I do thank you all. Look forward to the pre season on the 2nd September 2012. Remember this club belongs to the children we only run it for them thanks Barry
