This year's charity sevens competition is taking place on Saturday 21st June. This is the eleventh year that we have held this tournament and it never fails to be a fabulous event.

The tournament will be held on St. Edward's College's playing fields (our home pitch) from midday and there will be a bar, tea stall and barbecue on the pitch side.

We ask all players and spectators to pay five pounds upon entry and then spend what they can at the stalls - all proceeds go to the excellent cause of Marie Curie Cancer Care.

All are welcome to come and watch, to sit in the (hopefully) sunny weather and enjoy a jocund day of rugby and socialising. Afterwards the C.I. at Bishops Court, opposite the playing field, will be open for the evening, where, as always, entertainment, beverages and good company are on the menu.

We will also need raffle prizes and buffet food on the day, anybody who can offer anything that can be raffled off contribute to the buffet provision please e-mail the address below.

If you wish to enter a team to play in the competition, the games are ten minutes and are light-hearted, seven-aside, touch rugby. Please send a list of your team members to stedwardsoldboysrufc@hotmail.co.uk by Saturday 14th June.
