Olney (who usually play at Sherington) have been in the NBDFL for the last 3 seasons, winning the Division Two title in their first season, finishing bottom of the Intermediate Division in 2011-12 (19 points behind the Magpies) but were able to consolidate their position in Division One last season, finishing a respectable 7th overall with 44 points from their 28 league games.

Olney are an ever-improving side and will be looking to push for promotion back to the Intermediate Division this season.

The last time the two sides faced each other, the Magpies were 5-1 winners at the Rec with an OG, x2 from Sam Fedoriw, George Carpenter and Ronnie Harrington on target.

Later in 2012 another OG and another two goals from Sam Fedoriw helped secure a 3-1 win for the Magpies.
