Club Secretary, Dave Whiting, stated;
"We are delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Colin Piosek as President of Steeple Claydon FC with immediate effect. The President position was vacant throughout the 2012-13 season following the resignation of Mr Clive Griffin at the end of the 2011-12 season.
Clive held the position for many years and succeeded his father Mr Cyril Griffin who also held the post for several years.

Colin has a very long association with our club as a player, a team manager, a committee member and, most recently, as club Chairman. He has always had the clubs best interests firmly at heart and worked very hard to ensure the success and prosperity of the club.

As President, Colin will act as a figure head for the club and will provide support, advice and guidance wherever needed. Steeple Claydon FC is a stronger club following this very welcome appointment."
