Club senior chairman Richard Woodbridge today announced that the number of sponsors for the coming season has hit 40. " I am absolutely overwhelmed by the support of the local community for the club. There are businesses sponsoring that that have a connection to the club, and others that do not but simply understand the importance of sport in our society. The funds we raise are vital to keep the club running and also to slowly but surely improve the facilities at the Shooting Field. It costs over £30,000 per year to run the club, and with historic debts to pay off as well its a daunting figure every year.However when we look at the fact 4 years ago we had one or two sponsors this has been an amazing response. We hope the sponsors will all support us this year and for many years to come, and that we can repay the support they have given us. I have to give a special mention to one of our Commercial managers Ian Nichols who has been tireless in raising sponsorship this season".
