Mackleys to Sponsor 2017 Steyning Town Youth 6 aside Tournament

We are delighted to announce that Mackleys have agreed to be the main tournament sponsor of our 2017 Steyning Town Youth Football Tournament.

The hugely successful annual tournament will be held on the 13th & 14th May 2017, and for the first time will be held on our state of the art 3G Pitch. All age groups from Under 7 to Under 14 will play over the weekend with over 1,500 people expected to visit the ground over the weekend.

With their head office based in Small Dole JT Mackley are Civil Engineers specialising in coastal and fluvial construction. They also provide expertise in groundworks and civils support for major commercial, utilities and infrastructure developments.

The Mackley culture is focused upon teamwork with a can-do approach. With good communication and support within the project team, they address issues early and agree solutions swiftly and positively,. This allows them to deliver projects to programme and to high standards of quality, environmental and safety management.

Mackley has an impressive track record for quality work, including a number of prestigious industry awards. These include ICE Engineering Excellence, BCI Awards, CEQUAL and Environment Agency Project Excellence.

Steyning Town Community Club Tournament organiser Paul Hart added " We are delighted that a firm such as Mackleys, with its roots firmly in the local community, have agreed to sponsor the tournament. With support like this it makes a huge difference to what we can offer the teams visiting and is a big help for a volunteer led club such as ours. We are very grateful for their support".

Steyning Town 3 St Francis Rangers 2 A Chad Milner hat trick was just enough to secure all three points on Saturday in a hard fought 3-2 win over lowly St Francis Rangers.
Steyning Town CFC 0 Midhurst & Easebourne 5 Last Saturday afternoon produced a very disappointing result with Town crashing to a surprise 5-0 defeat at home to Midhurst.
