Me and my bro are finally able to fulfill a vision we have had since a life changing day back in 2003. Those of you who are close to me and Andy will remember the 24th January 2003 when our Dad suffered a big stroke at 7am in the morning. He was rushed to hospital where he suffered another stroke 3 hours later whilst in hospital. At the time of the stroke Dad was paralysed on his right hand side and lost all of his speech.
Luckily his mobility returned quite quickly although weaker on his right side, his speech took a lot longer to return. Today it is much better so long as there are not big groups of people with a lot of distractions. Memory and tiredness continue to be a lasting effect on Dad since the stroke.
The Stroke Association are dear to mine and Andy's hearts and have offered us a lot of support to us as a family.
Andy and I would be thrilled if you are able to sponsor us even the smallest of amounts. We have a target we would love to reach but are exceptionally grateful for any donations received as it is such a fantastic charity we are running for.
