The boys were gutted to hear of a last-minute league game cancellation by Crowborough 2s, given that Frannies have been training so well and in such numbers. Fixtures Secretary Andy Picaithly, DoR Steve Hand and Coach Josh Wretham managed to secure a last minute fixture against a mixed Eastbourne team. Unsure what to expect in terms of level, the lads relished the challenge, hoping for a tough competition and minutes for our new players. Thanks in advance to Eastbourne for sending a squad up to Southgate for the friendly so we can keep sharp! It’s game on at Southgate Playing Fields!
