Karl has become an increasingly influencial part of the team with a hat trick of goals in Town's 3-6 win at Bacup & Rossendale Borough. He was also on target during his side's 4-3 vital home win over Barnoldswick Town.

Having renewed their support which will see them remain as the club’s main sponsor, Johnsons Toyota Liverpool, the Bootle based car dealership will sponsor the club’s ‘Player of the Month’ award during 2014-15; supplying each winner with a brand new car for a week.

Town Chairman John McKiernan said, ‘It’s a great sponsorship deal and something that has been extremely popular with players over recent seasons. There will be some excellent publicity for the club and Johnsons and it will be a great experience for the players.’

He added, ‘It was a tough decision based on the opening month's games with goals galore and some really important wins in which Karl made a significant contribution.'

Gareth Shone, General Manager at Johnsons Toyota Liverpool said, ‘We are always looking for ways to promote our brand and support the club and the ‘win-a-Toyota-for-a-week’ sponsorship will give the players some added incentive and reward for their endeavours as well as giving the Toyota brand some valuable marketing.’

He added, ‘Each monthly winner will get the VIP treatment, choose a car from our extensive range, have a photograph taken collecting their car and spend a week experiencing the quality offered by Toyota.’
