St. Ita’s A.F.C. is committed to providing a safe and positive environment for all our members participating in the club’s activities particularly for those in their formative years. The safety and welfare of each child will be our main priority and take precedence over all other considerations. Fair-play and honesty of endeavor shall be valued ahead of winning and results. Children of all abilities and from all backgrounds shall be afforded equal opportunity to participate. The club will ensure that this policy is incorporated into all club policies and activities and that every team manager/coach within the club is familiar with the policy and the principles that underpin it. It is the duty of all adults involved in the club to ensure that this policy is followed at all times.
