With just under a week to go there was just not enough interested parties registered for us to continue. We had to take into account the Porthminster Beach Takeaway opening up just for us and for a small amount of teams, it really was not worth them doing so, we did not want to cause them a lose. We also wanted to create a fun atmosphere and with just a handful of teams that would not of been possible.

We are however, looking at moving this event to the start of next season when hopefully the enthusiasm for cricket will be higher rather than at the end of a very long season.

The club would like to thank the Porthminster Beach Takeaway for all the support with this event and their understanding in our cancellation.

Please accept the clubs apology for this and for any inconvenience this will cause people, but thank you again to the teams that were registered.

The Beach Cricket Raffle will now be drawn at our Awards night on the 10th October.
