An exciting opportunity to join an ambitious club and to become a key part of an impressive coaching team
St. Ives RUFC senior section had its most successful playing season ever in 2017/18 with the 1sts winning a league and Cup double and the 2nds Cup runners up. We aim to continue to make progress and also blood a new group of youngsters in senior rugby.
We are a club run by volunteers, renowned for our enthusiastic welcome of new players and members and the excellent social side.
The role sought is Senior Squad Forwards Coach for the 2018-19 season. Successful candidates will have technical and tactical knowledge of the game, specialising in forward play and the set piece.
The position would ideally suit a coach with club league experience, who is looking to develop a growing talent pool of enthusiastic, ambitious players involved with a club with great aspirations and facilities. They should also be looking to improve their coaching and should be able to challenge the players under match pressure.
The successful candidate would positively contribute to the planning and delivery of two evening sessions per week, every 1st XV matchday, developing young talent at the club and driving the team’s performance as they compete in Midlands 2 East (South).
All applications should be emailed to Phil Brown (Director of Rugby) at firstname.lastname@example.org and should include brief background experience and a coaching CV.
