Facilities
St Ives RFC is situated on the outskirts of St Ives, an 8 minute walk to the Town Centre. We have a regular bus service which transports visitors to and from the Club via the local bus, train stations and the infamous Tate Gallery at Porthmeor. We are fortunate enough to boast a large car park which enables us to accommodate the anticipated large numbers of vehicles which need to be parked in order for visitors to enjoy our very special town.
St Ives RFC is renowned as being, family centred and proven by, not only supporters bringing children on match days, but the excellent Rugby Youth Section which fills the spacious Clubhouse on both Sundays and Wednesdays.
The Club boasts of inheriting one of the finest ballrooms in Cornwall. This, coupled with our comprehensive parking facilities, make us the ideal venue for all kinds of private functions. The well maintained wooden sprung floor hosts Salsa and Line Dancing Classes every week.
We have excellent catering facilities which can provide meals tailored to meet individual requirements. These entail either a buffet style or a more professional sit down silver service option for those special occasions. We credit ourselves on being able to provide wedding receptions with individual tasteful decorations to suit the happy occasion. Our bar and catering service is very competitive and we are able to host many other functions such as birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, christenings and funeral gatherings.
The smaller lounge within the Club House is used for our Darts and Pool Teams and for smaller functions. It is also open during the week to our members.
