St Johns played fife side Strathmiglo tonight at the Kinross astro.A very lively first half,with some good football played by both sides trying to keep the ball on the perfect surface.With five minutes of the first half left,St Johns took the lead when some good football through the middle ended with Jackson playing in McGillivray to finish well.h/t 1-0
At halftime St Johns made a few changes with Dave Quinn,Murray,Emerson and McCaffrey coming on for Sweeney,Warner,Lamond and Ward.After a five minute settling in period St Johns got going again and got number two from a McGillivray header after Dave Quinn sent in a great corner after 53 miutes.A lot of good chances in this half and number three came when a great run by Emerson down the right from a Green pass,saw him blast it past the keeper after 83 minutes.Another two minutes and it was 4-0 after a diagonal pass from Campbell to Dave Quinn saw him round the keeper to score a well taken goal.f/t 4-0 St Johns
