Huddersfield Ladies got off to a flying start this season beating Liverpool Uni 36-6. Tries came from Becci Thompson x2, Jo Blakely x2, Beth Neilson x2, Lucy Wood and Jade Barber. Both Becci and Beth added 1 conversion each and player of the match went to Beth Neilson.
Credit has to be given to every player on the day, everyone tackled their heart out keeping Liverpool from scoring until the last seconds of the game. There was strong running from every player on the team and it would be difficult to single out a stand out player due to how well everyone played.
Our next game is West Leeds at home on Sun 1st of November if anyone wants to come down to support the Ladies! We are hoping to keep up our game play and improve each week.
