Bore draw? I think not!
The Under 10 Blacks in there new division kicked off against familiar opponents having played Welwyn Azzuri's a few weeks previous. Today things changed for the boys we suddenly started playing some fantastic football the passing and movement was exceptional and the defending and marking was superb. The only thing lacking from todays performance was a goal or two. We spent 50 Minutes camped in the Welwyn half and if it wasn't for several great saves and clearances off the line Bury could of got a cricket score. There were times when I wanted to check the goal didn't have cling film over it! Owen Taylor in goal for Bury had only one save to make throughout the game. Kai Herrick in defence was superb his tackling and covering was excellent. James Trense in midfield along side Tommy Walsh were all over the pitch and some of the through balls played by James deserved goals at the end of them. Harry and Jake upfront had chances and came so close to scoring. Michael and Connor also defended excellently throughout. Well done boys, if we keep developing and improving like this we won't go too far wrong. Man of the match was split between Kai and James as their performances were so good and they couldn't be seperated. Well done.
