Anti-Social media chat... the potential consequences!

A recent case involving another Spartan club has highlighted the need for all persons associated with the club to be extremely careful as regards the use of social media sites for negative or offensive comments regarding leagues, competitions, other clubs and our own clubs, officers and players.

Any detrimental comments will be regarded as serious misconduct and are likely to lead to the club taking disciplinary action against individuals as appropriate.

The case in question resulted in hefty fines imposed on the club member in question, with his unfortunate club now under the threat that the Club itself will be fined £500 with £150 suspended until the end of the following season if he commits another offence within that period!
