Adam "tiny hands" Latimer receives his player profile

Height 5'8
Weight 14st
Previous clubs - Southport, Liverpool Lions RLFC

Adam is in his second full season with Crosby. He was the first product from Crosbys feeder college South Sefton when the relationship was drawn up in 2012. The former South Sefton captain made his debut against New Brighton alongside Connor Faulkner.

Adam had become a prominent figure in a short space of time. Starting out in the 2nd team the Balding Bandit adapted to open age rugby as his tackles went from embarrassing tumbles to terrorising technical masterclasses, bringing every opponent down with a viciousness that made his own mum tend to his victims before Adam.

Adam has become one of the first names on the team sheet every week in that number 7 shirt that he even asked for his name to be printed on it. He had a fleeting fancy of trying for the number 2 spot, he even tried to grow a beard to prove he could be a front row but unfortunately a summer breeze blew it right away and after a saw neck he went Back to his natural number 7 shirt. Luckily Adam handles a rugby ball better then he handles a pint as teammates Michael McCarthy, Gaz Bell and Tom Tinsley have had many showers from his pint glass.

Adam not only has an influence on the field, he also has a big influence off it. A regular on a Saturday night on Moor Lane and South Road. Whereas a dog marks his territory to show where he goes Adam has his own method of marking where he's been, which is unfortunate task for every cleaner in Crosby.

Adam has paved the way for youngsters to come into this team and has set a fantastic example for future stars such as James Rummens who is now making a mark of his own. Adams progression over the past 2 years has been remarkable and his best friend Connor Faulkner now has a role model to look up to and hopes he can one day follow in Adams footsteps and perform to the high standards he sets every week.

It's an exciting squad being built at Crosby and Adam is a vital part of what is being put together, he is most certainly a future leader of Crosby St Mary's.
