“To captain my country is an incredible honour. I was delighted when I was told and I'm relishing the challenge,”

“I’m so proud to represent England and we have a hugely talented squad ahead of the competition – everybody is looking forward to it.”

Head Coach Nick Walshe added: “Callum is similar to last season’s captain, Jack Clifford, in the sense that when he talks people listen.
"He might not be the loudest, he doesn’t scream or shout, but he’s a real leader and a top guy and I know he’ll lead the guys well.”
