Announcement of 1st XV pre-season plans.

It has been decided that the team will commence 'official' pre-season training on Tuesday 1st July.

The club has been training steadily over the summer twice per week working on general fitness and conditioning but will now ramp this up as the new season approaches.

Training will now take place three times per week - Tuesday evenings (7pm-8.30pm), Thursday evenings (7pm-8.30pm) and Saturday mornings from 10.30am-12noon. All sessions will take place at Downfield Park.

All Tuesday sessions will be skills and rugby based.

The Thursday sessions will continue to be cardio based with GL continuing to take the team between 7pm-8pm. The team will then break off into forwards/backs for the final 30mins to run through their own set drills/moves.

The Saturday sessions will also continue as is, with these sessions being high intensity game related sessions.

All players are asked that they attempt to make atleast two sessions a week as we prepare for the new league campaign.
