Stockport 1st XI start with a home game v old enemies Tattenhall

Stockport's newly organised 1st XI, start their 2012 campaign against old foe Tattenhall Cricket Club on the Saturday 21st April 2012.

Stockport played Tattenhall Cricket club twice last year with a very mixed result.

First game was close but with a first innings total of 179, Rob Barber 45 and Sam Fuller 48.
Tattenhall couldn't quite get the required runs finishing with 168, Mike Eley finishing with 4 wicket's for only 9 runs in 6.4 over's.

Second game was one to forget or one to remember maybe as revenge can be sweet..
Stockport crashed to 65 all out, X-Captain Mark Green top scoring with 23.
With no Mike Eley, Tattenhall cruised to their target for the loss of only 3 wickets.

Ones to watch are Tom Hyslop who scored 822 runs last year and Rob Mulvihill with 45 wickets in 2011.

Tattenhall finished 5th in the league last year.

Stockport 2nd XI - Start their new title charge in their new division. Division 1, away against Bowdon Cricket Club.

Stockport 2's are still waiting a league decision on what if any punishment they will receive for playing an "illeagal" player in 2011.
Could this be the end to a 5 year winning streak?.

Bowdon now in their 3rd season in this division had a tough 2011 finishing just above the drop zone, missing relegation by 10 points.

Tom Scott is the batsman to look out for scoring 663 runs last year and Richard Scott the main bowler with 40 wickets last year.

Stockport 3rd XI - Start their 2012 campaign against their closest rivals from 2011 Timperley.
Timperley finished only 20 points and 1 place ahead of Stockport 3's in 2011, both of them just above the relegation zone.

After Stockport managed 1 win and 1 rained off against Timperley last year, Stockport's start couldn't be tougher.

Players to watch out for are, Stephen Beech who scored 467 runs in 2011 and Stephen Entwistle with 23 wicket's last year threat.
