After skipper Mark Willoughby won the toss and chose to stick Oulton Park in to bat, it was time for Stockport to try and get back to winning ways. An early quick wicket delivered by Howard Fox who made a quick reaction taking a one-handed catch of his own bowling got Stockport off to a flyer. After Oulton Park got back into the game being 48-1 of 14 overs, Mark Willoughby then turned to Ben Williamson who bowled a great line which put the Oulton Park batsman under pressure. With a good catch from Sean Porritt, Ben had his first wicket leaving Oulton Park now 49-2. With Bulow being the only real stand out for Oulton adding 65, there was no-one being able to stay around adding support as Adam Mills took 3-44 and was on for a hat-trick, and Ben Williamson 4-33, this had the hosts 102-8. Then it was time for Bruce Roberts who cleared the tail with figures of 2-3 of 3 overs. this left Oulton Park 109a.o

Needing 110, yet again Mike Beaver and Liam Danaher took to the crease, who both took a quick liking to the Oulton Park opening bowlers leaving Stockport 65-0 of 8 overs including 10 fours and 3 sixes. Liam Danaher was then the first to go being bowled for 39. This left Stockport 77-1.
Mike Beaver was the next to go in the next over making 40. This left Stockport 82-2. With Kyle Gavin falling cheaply making just 1 Calum Davies and Rick Jones added 23 runs for the 4th wicket leaving Stockport 106-4. Rick Jones then finished the game in style hitting a straight four in the 17th over which gave Stockport the 25 points which they deserved.

Hopefully Stockport can continue good form as they host Timperly at home next saturday.
