With another good week of weather look like we will be getting more football this weekend as 3 out of the 4 teams are in action over the Easter Weekend.

First up the 1st team who face another tough away trip on Saturday as they travel to Hinsford in the league. The lads are looking to bounce back from their disappointing result the previous week against Springhead but the visit up to Squires Lane will be a similar one. Hinsford sit 9 points ahead of Georgians having played 3 games more so it is a must win if we are to climb the table towards the end of the season.

Ressies face a very tough task as they host league leaders Avro at Cromley Road. Looking to improve on last weeks 2-2 draw with Wilmslow and keep building momentum as they fight to stay in the league. Avro will be looking to bounce back after they crashed out of the Open Trophy last week to Wythenshawe Amateurs.

Lastly the Youth Team, who couldn’t get much worse than last week face another cup game, this time they face Witton Albion in the 1/4 final of the Divisional Cup. Last weeks 5-0 defeat against Irlam must be forgotten about now as this is a big opportunity to bring some silverware to Cromley Road. Witton also took a battering last week as they got knocked out of the Open Cup 8-2 to Heswall so they like the young Georgians will be looking to bounce back.
