Stockport beat Poynton

Stockport put right the upset tie earlier in the season against Poynton, coming out knowing nothing but a win would do, and crossing their fingers that Cheadle would slip up. Ben McAllister was vocal as ever between the pipes, and lead his defence to an absolute crack down on the Poynton attack, who couldn’t slip more than 6 goals in the game. At the attacking end Stockport put 14 away to cruise to an easy win.
